However, putting that aside, this article isn’t about this house in Fairfax County. I like Springfield. I can think of quite a few reasons. Here are a few of those reasons.
- Springfield has an abundance of quiet cul-de-sacs and neighborhoods will very little cut-through traffic.
- Springfield often has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country. This means that Springfield is a prosperous town with a healthy demand for real estate. (Your home will be easy to sell when you’re ready to move on.)
- A client of mine once called Springfield and “urban forest” and that has always stuck with me. Much of Springfield has rolling hills and large broad-leaf trees providing shade.
- The Franconia/Springfield Metro and Van Dorn Metro stations both serve the Springfield area.
