However, this blog post isn’t about this Colonial-style home in 22304. Instead, this is concerning my town Alexandria. Time and time again, Alexandria makes the list of America’s most livable cities. Here are a few reasons why:
- Alexandria has an abundance of parks, and I’ve visited many of them. Fort Hunt Park, Fort Ward Park, Green Spring Gardens, Winkler Botanical Preserve, Founders Park and Huntley Meadows are just a few.
- The Washington Redskins, the Washington Wizards, the Washington Capitals, the Washington Nationals and DC United all have homefields close to Alexandria VA.
- Alexandria has a great mix of metropolitan and suburban, high-rises and single-family, townhouses and condos.
- I like the seasons. Alexandria enjoys winter, summer, spring and autumn. Each with distinctive activities and festivals.
