- Arlington has a great plan. City planners have located high-rises in close proximity to metro stations and shops and restaurants to create a metropolitan walkable stretch from Ballston to Rosslyn. At the same time, Arlington has preserved quiet residential neighborhoods to get a great urban mix.
- Arlington County has some of the best public schools in the national capital region, and in the country. Both Lemon Road, and Oakridge Elementary Schools and Gunston, and Longfellow Middle Schools are well regarded.
- Despite being an urban county, Arlington has set aside a number of pleasant green spaces for residents to enjoy. I have enjoyed walks at Theodore Roosevelt Island, Potomac Overlook Park, and Bon Air Park, but those are just a few of the many parks to enjoy.
- From Ballston, through Clarendon and to Rosslyn, Arlington has a vibrant nightlife and a fun community of shops and restaurants.
