MGM Casino Impacts Local Real Estate

MGM National Harbor opened in Prince George's County, Maryland, on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016.
MGM National Harbor accounted for the lion’s share of last month’s casino revenue, with $51.2 million generated from its slot machines and table games. MGM National Harbor operates more than 3,100 slots and 165 table games.
March was a record month for MGM National Harbor.
I believe this will impact real estate prices and increase demand in the Huntington area of Northern Virginia. We've already seen an increase in demand from renters who want to live in Virginia but want an easy commute to work at the casino.
