Nesbitt Realty is not the only company offering buyer’s rebates, but we are a locally-operated family-run operation that appreciates every single client. In general, buyers don’t pay for a Realtor. Your agent’s commissions are paid by the seller.
So if the buyer doesn’t pay any commissions how does the Realtor get paid? Commissions vary from property to property and from company to company. That said the commission paid to the company representing the buyer is usually paid 2% to 3% of the sales price. A buyer’s agent makes a portion of that amount. Nesbitt Realty pays some of that commission to the agent but we also rebate some of that commission to our buyer client. Only a handful of brokerages (large or small) offer to rebate commissions, but all of them have certain terms and conditions. These are described in your representation agreement.
So let’s take a look at a specific property in Prince William County to understand how the rebate works. 3548 Finish Line Dr Gainesville VA has 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 1 half-baths. Bottom line: 3548 Finish Line Dr is listed for sale at $699,900. Nesbitt Realty expects to put $4,138 in your hand if you use Stuart Nesbitt as your agent.
