Average Listing Price in Fairfax Steadily Decreases
Average listing prices in Fairfax have been steadily decreasing since June 2011, at an average of about $549k. While an $11,000 drop seems like a promising trend for new home buyers, a 3 week sampling of homes is too small to really read much into the data. Taken as a part of a greater whole, prices in Northern Virginia have been generally stable, neither falling nor rising over the past year or so.
