Located at 2501 Parkers Lane in Alexandria VA 22306, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is open 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week, providing residents with accessible and convenient health and emergency services with 237 beds and state of the art health facilities over 26 acres of well designed spacious gardens to help patients recover.
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital houses the Wound Healing Center aside from the re-known Inova Joint Replacement Center and Rehabilitation Center that have been ranked among the top orthopedic and rehabilitation programs in the U.S.
A $14 million expansion and renovation project was launched in 2008 paving the way for better patient services and comfort, patient flow and privacy within the Emergency Department and improvements for the radiology services.
A Gold Seal of Approval™ for outstanding care in joint replacement procedures was earned by the Inova Joint Replacement Center in 2009 from The Joint Commission, making Inova Mount Vernon Hospital one of the six programs in VA to earn this distinction. A 3 year accreditation for breast care was also earned by the Inova Breast Care of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer.
The Joint Commission has then designated a Primary Stroke Center at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in May 2010 providing exceptional efforts to cater to the needs of stroke patients producing better results for stroke care.
