Goodnight Walk: Sounds of the Night

Sounds of the night, they fill our ears with delight! The whole family is invited to come to Hidden Oaks Nature Center for a little night hike. Hidden Oaks Nature Center is located in the heart of Fairfax County, a few minutes inside the Capital Beltway. The woods surrounding the center feature an easy loop trail 1/3 mile long.

The Park is rich in history. While strolling through the woods, visitors can view a railroad embankment built just before the Civil War. This railway, never completed, is part of the Virginia and National Historic Landmark Manassas Gap Railroad.

Learn about animal sounds and then take a night- time stroll along the Old Oak Trail to practice our new listening and identifying skills. This activity is perfect for everyone over four years old! Event will be held on Saturday, May 29th from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The fee is $5 per person. To register, call 703-941-1065.
