(such as Landmark and Pentagon City), and urban shopping spots (like Old Town Arlington and Wilson Blvd. in Arlington).

Everything is close to Skyline, true. But not everything is walkable from Skyline. On the other hand, Skyline Plaza is has very active and clean bus service with quick shuttles to nearby metro stations.
