Shops and Entertainment Complex at Eisenhower Metro
AMC movie complexes are located all throughout the United Sates and Canada with over 350 theaters and over 5,000 screens. AMC Hoffman 22 is a 22-screen theater, making it the largest movie complex in Northern Virginia and second largest in the region. Built in 2001, it is a relatively new theater. There are ATM machines for purchasing tickets and advance ticket pickup. Ten of the screens are on the first floor with a very large lobby leading to an escalator or elevator to the second floor with 12 more screens. Two of the theaters seat 410, and three others seat 318.
In addition to easy service from the Eisenhower Metro, the entertainment complex has plenty of parking. There is paid parking available in the garage next door and surface parking available for free. At night and on the weekends. when the offices of the Hoffman Center are closed, there is additional surface parking available for free.

There are several eating establishments in close proximity to the theater. These include:

Marina Towers at the North End of Old Town Alexandria
Marina Towers condominiums are located on the northern end of Alexandria, just outside Old Town along the George Washington Parkway.
The property is situated on the banks of the Potomac with views to bald
eagle nesting sites on one side and the city skyline at the other side. The Towers peer over the Mount Vernon Trail. Residents can use the trail to walk to Old Town and it’s many shops and boutiques, or can follow the trail towards Reagan National Airport, Potomac Landing Marina and Washington DC.
Marina Towers is positioned to take maximum benefit from the river. The community fitness center looks toward the river. The pool is just above the trail and Potomac. At the water’s edge, the community has a gazebo bar and picnic area. There are no additional fees to use these facilities for residents.
There are approximately 500 residents at Marina Towers, a tightly knit community. The residents think of Marina Towers as “Paradise on the Potomac.” Former association president William Mattison coined this term to
describe the building’s location, but more importantly to describe the
community spirit residents share. Marina Towers residents have worked
together at times to on my community affairs, events and efforts such as community barbecues, river clean-up efforts or the send-a-kid-to-camp campaign.
In addition to it’s proximity to Old Town, Marina Towers has very easy access to the shops of Potomac Yards. It’s location on the GW Parkway is supported by Metro bus, but there is currently no walkably close Metro station for Marina Towers. Marina Towers residents can easily drive to DC, Rosslyn, the Pentagon and Ballston at all hours. Rush hour has little impact here because of Marina Tower’s strategic location.
